Catnaps to Cope with Daylight Savings Time
Are you feeling bleary-eyed from the clocks springing forward? Here are a few suggestions to help adjust to daylight savings time with more ease:
Walk in the sun (preferably with a cute dog), particularly early in the morning and/or at sunset to help regulate your circadian rhythms.
Massage your ears—there are acupressure points all over the outer ears that can help relieve stress and insomnia. It can be extra relaxing if you use an essential oil like lavender.
Drink some cherry juice in the evening for a delicious natural source of melatonin, which may help you sleep.
When in doubt, take a catnap (preferably cuddling with a sweet kitty)! If napping's not your style, try listening to a yoga nidra meditation to rest and recharge.
