Cornsilk Tea Supports Urinary Health
Cornsilk is an anti-inflammatory that gently soothes the urinary tract, helpful for urinary tract infections, interstitial cystitis, and overall bladder and kidney health. It has a mild taste and is simple to make. Boil about 2 tablespoons fresh or dried in 2 cups of water, simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and steep covered for 30 minutes. Strain out the cornsilk then enjoy.
This natural remedy is a generally safe food (including for pets) but, as always, if you have a special medical condition or are on medication, consult your health care provider for any potential interactions.
